What we collect, and why.

Last updated August 26, 2026 · v1.0

OutbidMyAI collects the minimum needed to run a public leaderboard and process payments. This page describes exactly what that is -- no more than that is collected.

Information you provide

When you submit a listing, we store the product name, URL, tagline, description, and logo image you provide (or that our metadata fetch pulls from the URL, which you can always edit). All of this is shown publicly on the board.

An email address is optional at submission -- it's only asked for so a listing can potentially be managed later. It is never shown publicly and is not used for marketing.

What we don't collect

There are no user accounts or passwords on OutbidMyAI. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies, and we don't build a profile of individual visitors. The click-through count shown on each listing is a simple aggregate counter -- it records that a click happened, not who made it. To stop the same visitor or a bot from inflating that count, we briefly hash your IP address (combined with a secret we hold) to check whether you've already been counted for that listing in the last 24 hours; we never store your IP address itself.

Payment information

Payments are handled entirely by Dodo Payments. When you check out, you're on Dodo's payment page, not ours -- OutbidMyAI never receives, sees, or stores your card number or other full payment details. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, its amount, and a payment reference ID, which we use solely to update that listing's bid total.

Infrastructure we rely on

OutbidMyAI is hosted on Vercel and stores data with Supabase. Like most web infrastructure, these providers may log standard technical data (such as IP addresses and request timestamps) as part of normal operation. OutbidMyAI does not use this data for tracking or profiling -- it exists at the infrastructure level, not as something we actively collect or analyze.

Data retention

Listing and payment records are kept indefinitely by default -- the board's public history and transparency (who bid what, and when) is part of how the product works. If you'd like a listing reviewed, hidden, or discussed, contact us below.
